The fifth Game of the Hundred Men's Competition 2025 will feature two-time champions Oval Invincibles taking on Manchester Originals in the first match of a double header at the Oval. This will also be the first home game in the fifth season for the defending champions.
The Hundred Competition 2025, although still in its early stages, has already delivered some exciting and nail-biting games. The fifth game of the tournament will feature the most successful franchise in Oval Invincibles against the tournament’s biggest underachievers in Manchester Orginals, who will go head-to-head at the Kennington Oval on Saturday.
The Oval Invincibles will be high on confidence after their dominant win against the London Spirit at Lord's. The defending champions looked in great nick in the last game with some great performances from their key international stars in Rashid Khan and Sam Curran. The Sam Billings-led side will be hoping to keep their dominance alive in their first home game of the season against the Originals as well.
While the Invincibles are coming on the back of a one-sided win against one of their biggest rivals, the same cannot be said about the Manchester Originals. Though the team had some incredible performances from some of their players in the opening fixture, which included Philip Salt's half-century and Scott Currie's four-wicket haul, they still suffered a heartbreaking one-wicket loss against the Southern Brave in their first encounter.
