For the upcoming Pro Kabaddi League Season 12, Patna Pirates have appointed Ankit Jaglan as captain and Deepak Singh as vice-captain, with their campaign starting on September 1, 2025, against UP Yoddhas. The team, coached by Anup Kumar, is eyeing a fourth PKL title after narrowly missing out in the previous season. Ankit, in his third year with the Pirates, is the league’s highest-paid all-rounder, known for his speed, agility, and high tackle success rate.
Deepak Singh, a star defender with 282 career tackles, will lead the defensive unit. CEO Pawan Rana expressed confidence in the leadership trio’s ability to deliver success. The squad also features Ayan Lohchab, Navdeep, Sudhakar Maruthamuthu, Deepak Jaglan, Hamid Mirzaei Nader, Sanket Sawant, Sombir, Amin Ghorbani, Maninder Singh, Ankit Kumar, Mandeep Kumar, Milan Dahiya, Sahil Patil, Ashish Birwal, Balaji, Jadhav Shahaji, and Saurabh Narwal.
