The 21-year-old Argentine, who joined United from Atlético Madrid in 2020, has fallen out of favour under manager Ruben Amorim. United initially valued him closer to the £50m Arsenal paid Chelsea for Noni Madueke, but the current price reflects both Garnacho’s Premier League experience and Chelsea’s willingness to invest in young talent.
