Antony Reveals Why He Snubbed Harry Kane Link-Up at Bayern

For the Brazilian winger Antony, the summer transfer window brought a decisive career move as he rejected Bayern Munich’s offer to link up with Harry Kane and instead sealed a permanent switch to Real Betis. The former Manchester United player, who struggled under new manager Ruben Amorim and was relegated to the training group known as the “Bomb Squad,” completed a €25 million deal with Betis on deadline day, signing a five-year contract.

Antony had spent the second half of last season on loan at Betis, where he impressed during a six-month spell.
