Dietmar Hamann Predicts Harry Kane’s Return to England

After the much-publicised transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich in 2023, Harry Kane finally achieved his long-awaited dream of lifting a major club trophy. However, just two years into his stint in Germany, fresh speculation has emerged regarding his future. According to former Bayern and Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann, there is a strong belief within Bayern’s hierarchy that Kane may look to return to the Premier League after the 2026 World Cup.

Hamann revealed that Bayern’s recent interest in Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade, who later joined Newcastle United, was driven by concerns over Kane’s possible departure. He suggested that Kane may have a release clause in his contract allowing him to leave next summer for a set fee, possibly around £50 to £60 million. While the striker’s next move could depend heavily on his performances this season and in the World Cup, Hamann insisted that many within Bayern already anticipate his exit.
